Dydacomp announced that they will be seeking integrated eCommerce solution partners for their Multichannel Order Manager (M.O.M.) order processing and fulfillment solution at the Internet Retailer Conference in San Diego on June 14-17.
The announcement represents a dramatic strategic shift from Dydacomp who is opening up its full featured M.O.M. order management and fulfillment platform to select eCommerce partners for the first time in the company’s history. The ultimate objective of the program is to provide small and mid-sized eCommerce merchants the most flexible and cost-effective options for managing end-to-end eCommerce operations.
“Dydacomp’s focus on an expanded eCommerce partner network will allow merchants the option to capitalize on the investments they’ve already made in their existing eCommerce solutions while adding robust back-office functionality that will allow them to scale operations and run more efficiently,” said Robert Coon, SVP overseeing Dydacomp’s business development. “M.O.M.’s powerful features complement the functionality of stand-alone eCommerce solutions, adding proven features and process to customer service, warehouse management, fulfillment, purchasing, receiving and numerous other back-office areas. The marriage of M.O.M.’s time-tested processes for small business with today’s leading eCommerce solutions will not only differentiate Dydacomp and our partners’ solutions in the marketplace but will also provide merchants with a competitive advantage and scale typically available for only large enterprise merchants.”
Dydacomp is already in partnership dialogues with a handful of strategic partners and is eager to meet with other partners to identify and jointly solve key business challenges that small and mid-sized merchants who sell through multiple channels face today. In addition to stand alone eCommerce platforms, Dydacomp is searching for eCommerce system integrators, online marketplaces, comparison shopping engines, and stand-alone point-of-sale vendors that serve the SMB market.
“Dydacomp has always been committed to streamlining the operations of eCommerce and multichannel businesses. This partner program is the next logical step in that evolution, providing the marketplace with an exciting new selection of integrated solutions for growing online merchants without requiring changes to parts of a merchants operations that are already performing well,” added Coon. He continued, “Feedback from merchants and both existing and prospective partners has been extremely positive so far and we are excited to share more details at the Internet Retailer Conference next week.
